You don’t have to live with unsightly, raised moles on your face, neck or body and you don’t have to undergo the knife, scalpel or stitches to have the moles removed.

Cosmetic Mole Removal is a delicate radiofrequency shave procedure for the removal of benign (non-cancerous) moles or skin tags. No scalpels or stitches, means a smoother final result.

In the sunny Australian climate moles are often common. The vast majority of moles that appear on the skin before the age of 30 are commonly non-cancerous, but can cause irritation on the skin or be a cosmetic nuisance, especially those on the face or neck.

Using the high-tech gold standard Ellman Surgitron machine there is no cutting or sutures required, unlike surgical excision. It is a walk-in walk-out procedure, with little aftercare required. You can resume normal daily activities after your procedure.

If you feel self-conscious or just want the mole removed as it is a nuisance, then talk to us about this effective and non-invasive removal of cosmetic benign moles or skin tags.

  • The procedure is quick, taking less than half an hour to remove those moles you have often lived with nearly all your life.

A little local anaesthetic numbs the area which makes the procedure totally painless and there is minimal bleeding as the diathermy machine seals the blood vessels as it removes the mole. The surprise and delight is evident on clients’ faces when they look in the mirror and see the mole has vanished.

The healing process takes around two weeks. It is important to keep the treated area covered with a dressing such as a transparent cold sore patch until it has healed. Moist wound healing will ensure no crust or scab forms which lowers your risk of scarring.

The treated area will remain pinkish for a few weeks to a couple of months. After that, the treated area where the skin is younger and fresher may often appear a little lighter than the surrounding area. The texture of the skin may be also subtly different to the surrounding skin, as the newly grown skin has not been sun damaged in comparison.

The end result is the raised, often darker unsightly mole is replaced by youthful new skin.
