Needlephobic?

I arrived at the clinic white knuckled and feeling a little faint but was instantly put at ease by the beautiful Carly on reception who was reassuring and nurturing.  Dr Tall then came to talk to me in relation to what type of medication I wanted to use to numb my lips, and was extremely compassionate and understanding in relation to my hypoventilation and  pending panic attack!  I decided on the dental block (which btw I think should be called something else……. maybe a “cosmetic block”) as it was nothing like going to the dentist!  After the gentle numbing cream went on Dr Tall talked to me in soothing tones and handed me a vibrating instrument that I held to my cheek while she was administering the “cosmetic block” (see doesn’t that sound better!).  I was totally calm and felt very safe….no faintness….no palpitations… no feeling like I wanted to run down the hallway screaming like a mad woman!

Personally I think Dr Tall should teach dentists her method of the “cosmetic block” as the reason I was so bloody scared of it in the first place was from having dental work done!

My lips look fantastic and I feel confident and youthful!  I will definitely be going back to the Cosmetic Image Clinic for any further work that I would like to have done.  An excellent experience! Thank you!
