Fading Cream Aftercare & Instructions

How Do I Use The Intimate Lightening Fading Cream?
The cream can be applied once or twice a day to the affected areas, however it is advisable to gradually build up the application to minimise any adverse reactions. Application of the cream should be only on the area which requires lightening. There is no need to insert the cream into the anus or vagina as these areas are lighter in colour naturally.

Perform a Patch Test:
Apply a small amount of the cream to a discrete area.
Wait 24 hours to ensure no irritation or adverse reaction occurs.
If redness, irritation, or discomfort arises, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Application: Apply a Small Amount: Squeeze a pea-sized amount of cream onto clean fingertips.
Massage Gently: Using circular motions, massage the cream evenly onto the area until fully absorbed. Avoid rubbing vigorously.
Frequency: Use once daily for the first week. If no irritation occurs, increase to twice daily for optimal results.

Important Notes
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not apply to broken, irritated, or inflamed skin.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Your product may have a 28-day expiry label on it, however when stored properly the product will last 3-6 months.

It is advisable to use the product for three months, then have a ‘one month holiday’ to minimise the risk of rebound hyperpigmentation. Some individuals may experience temporary skin reactions, particularly during the early stages of use.
These may include:
Mild redness
Dryness
Flaking or peeling Sensitivity or irritation

These effects are often managed by reducing frequency of application. If symptoms persist, worsen, or cause concern, discontinue use and contact the clinic for review. Not all skin reactions represent an allergy. Individual skin tolerance varies, and adjustment periods can differ between patients.

Are there any side effects when using Pink Bits Fading Cream
It is possible to experience some mild inflammation, dryness or peeling in the area in the early stages of use. It is recommended to gradually build up the dose and use a small amount initially every couple of days, either in the morning or at night. This enables the body to adjust to the cream with minimal side effects. If side effects are experienced, usually these dissipate after a reduction in dose and frequency of application. It is common to think that you may have an allergy or sensitivity to the cream however this is not usually the case. It can take a month or so to ‘get used’ to the cream.

How long does Pink Bits take to work?
Changes in pigmentation occur gradually. Visible improvement, if it occurs, may take several weeks to months and varies between individuals.

Results depend on multiple factors including skin type, hormonal influences, friction, lifestyle factors and adherence to treatment recommendations. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Aftercare
Aftercare is minimal, once you have completed treatment you should make sure you keep the treated area away from direct sunlight, avoid very hot baths or showers, and avoid picking or peeling off skin until the skin has healed.
